A friendly feature have been added, Auto-Proxy detect which will do a lot of help if you lost in the Proxy setting procedure. Having Auto-Proxy detect work, first you need to check up “Automatically detect settings” in the LAN settings from Internet Explorer. We hope you enjoy the efficient brought by this function!

With this version, for our new registered users you might have found that there are some sample file(s) packed together which will somehow do a little help guidance when synchronize from one device to another.

ASUS WebStorage has increased the storage space for all free account users from 1GB to 2GB in total*. Please verify the space increment upon logging in your account.

Sorry for the delaying and kept you guys waiting! There has been some bug fixing during last week when we tend to announce the update on March 11.

Process termination when back up or synchronized path was too long is fixed in this version. Which this was causing backup procedure stopped and appears that your backup data is ceased. V3.0.1 will temporarily ignore these files and continue backup others in the line, in order to make sure you have others on the schedule.

We’ll provide a list indicating those long path files in next update version. In the meantime, you can manually relocate these files to backup.

We’ve received dozens of feedback from our users indicate that it is hard to keep on track of every client updates. Today, we have initial our auto update mechanism to make sure you won’t miss any important update ever!

Please be note that it is the first time auto update is ever initialed, in order to keep efficient download traffic we will be partially send out auto updating push. Of course, if you have already downloaded our newest version from Download page, auto updater will not affect your usage.

ASUS WebStorage will extend the duration for all registered users in Japan by six months from now. Keeping all data safe and make sure they do not have to worry about data loss during these hard times.

If you have file syncing experience with AWS service with our earlier version, you might have find that is was some conflict between local file and exist file on the cloud (under the condition of same file name and structure).

Regarding to the issue highlighted, we strongly recommend you update with latest 3.0.86 version!

Along with this release, AWS service has disable MySyncFolder directory to be set as backed-up rule, to avoid “tragedies” happen. Moreover with few small bugs fixed.
